I had a Ferrari 355 Spyder. I bought it new on an impulse. My girlfriend thought I looked stupid in it and reminded me that I wasn't bald, impotent, nor lacking self-esteem - so why was I advertising the opposite to the world? The fit and finish were nowhere near the quality of an average Japanese car...and you wouldn't believe what the first major service costs.

I wised up and sold it after 2000 miles. Luckily, I didn't really lose much money.

On the plus side, my car got a lot of admiring glances from the under-15-year-old crowd. So i guess if you buy one of these things and want to impress someone,, park it in front of a junior high school
