Hello Harold,

The code for DNS is as follows:

If(SAR(.02,.2)<C,1,0) +
If((Mov(C,5,E)>Mov(C,13,E)),1,0) +
If((Mov(C,13,E)>Mov(C,40,E)),1,0) +
If((Mov(C,8,E)-Mov(C,17,E))> (Mov(Mov(C,8,E)-Mov(C,17,E),9,E)),1,0)+ If(Mov(C,50,SIMPLE) - Ref(Mov(C,50,SIMPLE),-15) > 0,1,0)+
If((Mov(ROC(C,12,%),3,E)>=-6 OR ROC(C,12,%)>0),1,0)+
If(OBV()>Mov(OBV(),40,S),1,0)+
If(V>Mov(V,120,S),1,0)

It is a combination of long & short term indicators that looks for the "TAKEOFF" point for a BIG move. I have found that each of these 8 indicators MUST ALWAYS be long before any big move occurs....

I use DNS > 7 for entry and DNS < 4 for exits but others use different parameters. Jerry is doing some GREAT work using DNS as a shorter term indicator and it looks VERY promising.

DNS is a LONGER term indicator that will keep you in a stock for a few Months... It will try to capture as much of the move as possible. Because of this, it's exits might be slower then a shorter term trader might want. That's why Jerry's work is SO IMPORTANT!! He is trying to Trade short term WITHIN DNS. If we can come up with something to CONFIRM DNS and then trade the smaller moves within it, the percentages should be EXCELLENT!!

Does this help????
