If I criticized you in error, I offer a humble apology. I had developed the impression that you and tgs59 know each other (was it not you who verified his authenticity?) and I somehow formed the opinion that you are another gaming insider. Are either or both of these assumptions correct? And would you please clarify your role as related to AGTI? Are you a shareholder in either AGTI or GMTC, a bingo hall operator, or what?
This may be a poor defense for my bad manners yesterday, but I have witnessed a lot of garbage on SI by some very intelligent and slick posters. The infamous "Steve Pluvia" on the PLSIA thread months ago is a prime example. "Mike Winn" on the TAVA thread is another. These people frighten investors, present or potential, by their level of industry knowledge which is slanted in a very negative bias against the target company. Let's face it, the typical investor simply cannot easily debate with industry insiders. Not me and not anyone else.
Here on the AGTI thread, we just haven't had much to cheer about for a long time. But now we have new, seemingly credible management. We have new business partners, licensing in Texas, JV with Sega Gaming, the beginnings of actual activity in Great Britain....etc. There are still a boatload of negatives out there, as well, and I think we all know that. Nobody has to keep reminding me of the uphill struggle I face as an investor.
Forgive me for cutting this post short, but I have to get ready for a morning flight. I'll respond on the GMTC thread as soon as I can.
