Speaking of conservation, my display computer had started more paging as I worked on the usual dozen tasks or so. It only has .75 Gig of memory and I noticed my swap space was up to about 1.25 gig. So I decided to look into a memory upgrade. my l440gx dual p3 has four slots and can handle 1G dimms, But only two 1G dimms. So I went to ebay and bid on two of the same 1G in different auctions and I won 1 at 19.95. There was third of the same part number and I bid it and won the 2nd also at 19.95. the first arrived today. I shut down, removed the three 256M dimms and inserted the 1G dimm. System booted and is working well. So now I can work with even less computer delay.

I expect by Tue I will have my second dimm and will have my 2G eliminating more delays. But after taking the time to look at my motherboard specs again after a couple of years, I realized my l440gx is capable of handling dual 1Ghz p3. Currently it's running dual 700mhz. A matched pair of 1Ghz can be found on ebay at 19 to 30 bucks. I think some more conservation may be in order.

It's interesting that there is no picture of the AR128V72N4SMGAS that looks like the dimm I recieved. No picture on ebay or using google.
