Nadine, so say you and Lindy. <The President is the Commander in Chief and makes foreign policy, including war. Congress has the power of the purse to fund it or not.> But other things I read say not. It's like Global Warming - we'll have to get a scientific consensus that says POTUS decides and charge Denial against heretics. Being "In Denial" is already a term used "in therapy" in the USA. Making Denial an actual offence should be a doddle. In any event, it seems absurd to say politicians can't go and discuss anything they like with whoever they like. The USA isn't a one-party state and isn't a single Great Leader state either. It specifically is NOT that. Quite deliberately. Foreign policy means actual decisions and facts. Somebody visiting and discussing what foreign policy should be is quite another matter. Mqurice
