I am certain - we all are certain - that under those bib overalls was a silk thong, one of Gianni Versace's last personal favors. It is faith like that that gives me the courage to go on. Only here would anyone believe that. I am embarrassed to admit that when he came home last night, I said, "Did you at least tell her I was a writer?" LIke that explains it all, makes it ok that I'm a slop in bib overalls. SHe can say to her elegant mother, "Well, I don't think you'd want to eat there, but after all, she IS a writer." When he ate at her home, they broiled salmon. He was very impressed. He loves salmon. I always order pizza.
