<< got in for $3.75 on march 30 calls>>

Nice job Sector! My order was in for 3.75 but I had to go to bed because it was 3 a.m. over here (Japan) so I had to get some shut eye and I upped my price to 3 7/8 after the market pulled out of the red. But by close the ask dropped to 3.75......I hope we will never be able to get them again for these prices.

One other comment I have is about what style pts posted in regards to europe/Japan changing the way they charge for phone calls.

techstocks.com

<< Europe. Mory thought Europe would pick up in 1998. The Subcriber rate is 40 subcribers to 1 port in Europe. In the US, it is 10 subscribers to 1 port. Microsoft says that they would like to see 7 to 1 port on their online service. What has happened in Europe is the subscriber does not stay on line very long because it is per minute usage. ASND thinks that will change with deregulation of phone companies and flat rate pricing, there will need to be a big build-out of backbone equipment. The same goes for Japan.>>

Speaking from experience NTT is now offering TELEHODAI which is unlimited calling (locally) from 11pm-8am. Usually you must pay 10 yen (about 8 cents) for every three minutes regardless of connecting via modem or isdn. So people can now get on the internet between these times with no extra charge on their phone bills. The internet traffic has become much more heavy especially at these times. Furthermore I get a call about once a week frome various "alternative" phone companies (including call-back services) to switch over for cheaper rates. I've been living in Japan for over 4 years now and my general impression is that internet popularity in Japan although currently behind the U.S. will continue to grow at similar levels as the U.S.

I gotta go out and celebrate Halloween right now will be back later.
