Dan,

I've read some great reviews of the MSI board (DVI GeForce video on-board, firewire, etc.) The only complaint I've seen was that the fanless graphics chipset seemed to run warm, so I ordered some 40mm fans for the chipset:

As long as you have a CPU fan that is bigger than stock fan, that blows on the mobo as well, I think you are ok without the chipset fan.

1 MSI K8NGM2-FID Socket 939 NVIDIA GeForce 6150 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - RetailItem #: N82E16813130529 $78.99

That's a good one. BTW, I built last couple of computers with very similar mobo: K8NGM2-NBP (slightly different version). MSI calls this one Rev 2.0, which is the reason I got that one. It is missing 1394 (which is useless in the business environment anyway) and it has nVidia "NVidia Business Platfrom" stamp of approval.

I got this fan:

and Antec Aria case for these. Unfortunately, one of the vendors says that Antec Aria case is discontinued, and at Newegg it is out of stock now. I wonder if Antec is going to bring out a new version of similar dimensions. I like the fact that it is standard Micro ATX. I got sick and tired of poor quality of Shuttle cases / mobos I got before.

Joe
