Meanwhile, in the State of Washington, the Democrats have regained control of the state House and now control the State House, Senate and Governorship and 7 of 9 Congressional seats. The Republicans have only one state wide elected official - Secretary of State. On the negative side, Initiative 747 limiting property tax increases to 1% passed.
Cities and Counties have already begun budget cutbacks.
