Yes, some banks are being placed under supervision and taken over by the FDIC.....BUT, this is nothing new. I worked for a firm that was involved in this in the late 80's during the S&L crisis.

If the banking situation really deteriorates (which may happen) then this will become a Major Problem.

But as of yet....this is not occurring to an alarming degree
