Interesting post! Whatever has happened to the US-India military alliance and US promise to help India with the latest nuclear technology? No doubt that promise was intended as a "threat" to the rising power of China. Is India accepting Russian aid and cooperation in nuclear technology because the US is too slow to act on its promise? Or because India is showing its mistrust and/or defiance of the US? Is Russia helping India because it hopes India might be induced to "share" with Russia the latest technology it gets from the US? .
