Off Topic - James Gleick James Gleick - a popular science writer, entrepeneur, and a GPS enthusiast (he has written several columns relating to GPS in the NY Times magazine) - was seriously injured in a plane crash in NJ last week. His 9 year old son, the only other passenger in the plane did not survive. James Gleick is the author of Chaos: Making a New Science (Viking Penguin, 1987) and Genius: The Life and Science of Richard Feynman (Pantheon,1992). Both books were NationalBook Award nominees. His articles on GPS appeared in NY Times Fast Forward column, and are also available on: around.com Arun
