Dear Gregor:

Yes, I have also often thought that the older son in the parable of the prodigal son represents many in the established church. We often forget that we were once where the prodigal son was and after some time in the church we often take on a certain "stuck up" quality. This can't be the way God wants us to be. He definitely wants us to join in the rejoicing and celebration when the lost son or daughter returns home. Praise God for His mercy.

Good luck on the national championship. My alma mater, the University of South Carolina, had an abysmal year. We are praying for a better season next year. The good thing is that we certainly can't do any worse.

In Christ, Tom
