Bushies attacking Kerry's war record may be their fatal mistake. They fell into the same old trap all of Kerry's opponents have. Unless Bush and Cheney were vets, they only invite unfavorable comparisons, especially in a time of war. Bush and Cheney were the worst kind of draft evaders, those who supported the war in Vietnam but used trickery and connections to let kids from average families die in their places.
