Scott: I am sorry to hear about your friend. Melanoma is one of the hardest malignanicies to treat, especially if it has spread. Right now, Interferon appears to be the best show in town. There are trials of an immunostimulant vaccine, but I cannot recall the name of the company. This sounds promising. There are a couple of sites on the web that list clinical trials for certain indications. Just put "clinical trial" into any search engine and see what you get. MD Anderson in Houston has alot of innovative therapy trials as does any major cancer center. I am not sure where your friend is located, but there are many strong regional centers. I wish you and her luck. Dan
