Before somebody asks "why sell QLGC?"
Last week I purchased a "starter position" in QLGC and went about making the bullish case, I think on this board or another. DMI's have hooked, Full Stos are rounding, T/A picture seems to be improving. Taking a play out of valuetrader's play book I've found it advisable, usually, to sell a little inventory on rallies especially in downtrends.. Such was the case today. It among others GNTA CATG were my candidates....the later I added to... and QLGC heaviness at $22, early, suggested to me it wouldn't finish strong. Fortunately it had one spike up to 22.80 +/- and I sold. Close was relatively weak. Cap still remains which I'd give 50/50 odds on its being filled, maybe after earnings are released Oct. 16th I believe the date is....
Just selling inventory of spring wear when the sun starts shinning. Certainly will reconsider reentry at what hopefully will be the appropriate time....and not higher. Plan on doing the same with miners first time they get up towards their declining moving average clusters.
