Correct, so your goals are not to "buy in prior to earnings and then sell if "X" happens" (unless the story changes in their report). I understand and agree. That was precisely my point, all investors have different time horizons, tolerances for risk and expected rates of return.

Alos, I was not suggesting that 30% return should be "the" goal, it was just a number I used as an example...
