Sorry, I was using the term to cover all kinds of sex outside of marriage, including pre- marital sex. I agree that a vow should constrain one if nothing else does, but there are circumstances, for example, when one's spouse has already violated the vow, or when people are separated and in the process of divorce, which, although iffy, are not in the same league as mere indifference to marital vows.
