Based on what the March futures closed at (~parity with #2 oil), I am a little surprised that April's futures are trading as low as they are. I guess we have another 2 weeks until this contract closes, considering that we have about 650 bcf estimated in storage as of today and will probably have <600 when the April contract closes.

If we see any hint of cold weather in April watch the futures. I expect with the very low production and storage levels we could have some very weak builds and or draws with cold weather in early in April.

Otherwise we see that if the futures contract for April closes around where it is today, the system is not being aggressive to start refilling and NG firing wont be switched to #2 oil.
