Bullish INTC news, less taxes on lower earnings! <grin, ha, ha> Tech jam job rally on the IBM and TXN earnings today? A reversal would not be a good thing for the Bulls IMO.

CHARLOTTE (Dow Jones)--Chip giant Intel Corp. (INTC) cut the prices on some of its mobile computer chips over the weekend as the company works to reduce excess inventory.

On Intel's Web site, the company said it reduced the price of its fastest Pentium M processor by nearly 34% to $423 from $637, in batches of 1,000.

The chip maker also cut the price on its top end Centrino mobile chip by 30% to $495 from $709.

All told, Intel reduced the price on 29 of its chips, ranging from a low of around 10% to a high of around 35% reduction.
