John........ it's merely a trial designed to yield rapid information regarding drop in viral load. For such, you'd choose to work with relatively healthy patients. There may also be an attempt to find patients that have no previous experience with anti-viral therapy. IMO, double PI would be as appropriate for those with CD4 <200 as it would be for those newly infected. Disclaimer: I'm not a physician. Rick
