We had been getting rumours that they were about to get the permits for Romero. This is not at all what is happening; rather the Minister is going to meet with members of the local community, which will likely include some proponents but all opponents of the proposed mine. Given how negative the reaction has been overall, what will he be putting in his report to the President?

The one encouraging aspect of the PR is that the Minister states that the decision will be made quickly.

So is this a sell on news situation? If the permit is denied, which we will not know for some time in spite of the Minister's comment, GQC's share price will be crushed.
