<< Not too many people would buy $1000/$160 shares of a stock. But the question of Risk is for Ballard Power $1000/$10 = 100 shares $1000/$160 = 6.25 shares. >> I really hope you are just teasing. Typical advise is not to invest in various companies in terms of equal share amounts, but in terms of an equal dollar value. Everything else being equal, there is more 'risk' investing $10,000 in a $10 stock, than investing $10,000 in a $160 stock. Please read a few books before you cause any significant damage to your portfolio.
