I agree that we might make arabs angry and aggressive toward US but the alternative is that we are encouraging development of terrorist networks. The networks would be much bigger threat to US. Each time US condemn Israel for fighting terrorist it is not only encourage terrorists but also Saudis and such who finance them.
We don't have to go far for an example, Israel was condemn for bombing Iraq's nuclear facilities a while back. A few years later Bush senior was not facing nuclear weapons because of Israel's actions.
As far UN condemnation, US, as a member of the security council, condemn Israel as well.
