I have been reading this thread for quite a while and have what is for me a substantial positon in Ampex. I have bougt and sold the stock a number of times over the past 2+ years. I have been anxiously awaiting revenue from a licensed agreement for their KM technology to move the stock but an article in this mornings Wall Street Journal on page B2 has me concerned. It seems a company called Terastor is unveiling a technology that" can create a disk that can hold 20 gigabytes of info on each side which is roughly 10 times the capacity of a single disc today". The company is founded by Jim McCoy who was a co founder of Quantum and Maxtor. The article goes on to say that this has the potential to be a major technological breakthrough. Sorry for the long first post but can someone please comment. jkelly
