I suspect they will eventually buy one from the Russians, which shortens the time line radically. I have yet to decide if the building nuclear power talk is a ploy to get US Aid to promote their own status. Aid from the US would look like they beat the US too. It is bad having the opposition look like they beat the US, when you were the first islamic country to do so..... Forcing the US to buy off Iran, makes their rule that much more secure.
