Saltzberg> What the article failed to mention was that Burt Saltzberg is considered perhaps the top comm theorists alive today - "a comm theorist's comm theorist" (check with other leading comm theorists such as Cioffi, Zimmerman, JJ Werner, Jim Mazo, Steve Weinstein, Luke Smithwick and Jack Salz to confirm his stature). He is the inventor of multi-tone modulation as well as many other principle communication algorithms and structures. He is an independant consultant and his analyses are highly regarded throughout academia and industry alike. He knows this field better than most, and what he says is listened to.
