Well we agree on one thing.... cut the taxes so the government can't squander so much of it. Let us spend work for our own money..... Let us spend our own money.... A few years back I was in the Azores. Met a real nice gal there and the whole town just about shuts down at night fall. She walked me and my wife to a taxi stand to make sure we would get back to our lodging since it was out of the city. I asked her where are all the people... this was during the day... i am used to seeing people hanging out in the streets, etc.... she said they are working.... they have this ethic in the Azores, if you don't work, you don't eat.... you'd be surprised how effective this system is.... no welfare.... i am sure families have to help out sometimes....
