Thanks Gina...The reason that what happens to Nifong is important, is that this COULD happen in many places in this country.

The attorneys' bills the article says, are $$$millions of dollars. How do even wealthy parents have that much money? And of course, the parents did not HAVE to pay the boys legal bills. But it looks like they will. Should they have to? Or should the County AND State where this happened pay the legal bills?

And what about those 88 idiotic "professors" who placed the full page ad against these boys? They should have to pay stiff defamation of character fines, and anything else that would apply.

What would happen to middle class income boys and their parents? The poor probably would have some rich folks pay their bills, but who pays the bills for those folks who pay the majority of the taxes...(Those making over $70,000)

But even if the money weren't enough....Think of what happens to the boys for the rest of their lives...Can any of us imagine how terrible it would be to know that your parents entire retirement has been destroyed because of this>

Nifong needs to have the entire set of books tossed at him...not just one.
