I am pleasantly surprised as to how well Zi has been holding up. I can't help but wonder how all the bad news is going to affect Zi. Cell phone demand is going to be down from previous forecasts. Alcatel came out and said that the near term would have some difficulties. Everyone is saying that 3G technology phones aren't moving as predicted. Psion is pulling out of Symbian, and Symbian is going to require more money from its consortium. I own stock in a leading manufacturer of filters used in wireless applications (SAWS) and they are lowering forecast for the first quarter due in part to a partial order cancellation of filters from China. Alot of these warnings have come in Jan and Feb. Zi's last prediction of profitability for 2001 had come in late Dec. I wonder if anything has happened to change this forecast. I have to believe it has. Because of this I am a short term cautious holder and a long term bull.

Good luck
