Jon:-This Canadian company Bid.Com (Bii:TSE) also (BIDS:Nasdaq) If I remember correctly last Summer they were on the Canadian TSE (bb) at Cdn.$0.60/sh. the next thing they moved to the TSE and before long they were trading on the main board of the TSE at Cdn.$2.50/sh. The objective was to get on the NASDAQ BIG BOARD. Some thought BIDS made a mistake they should like X-Stream moved to the NASDAQ (BB) and work up from there. The next step up was the NASDAQ (small cap) but a company must maintain a minimum price of US$4.00/sh. I think for a month or so,??? now if you maintain US$5.00/sh or more for the same period plus a few other points you would meet the NASDAQ (BIG BOARD) standards. BIDS or BID.COM by staying in Canada went through hell. (i.e.) at one point they moved from 2.50/sh. to $9.50/sh. looking good for the Nasdaq Big board then some Canadian Brokerage House would jump on it and back BIDS would fall to $2.50/sh. again. This happened a few times. Finally they held the $5.00/sh. price standard ++ and moved to the Nasdaq Big Board from the TSE and latter they hit a high of $33.70/sh. Not bad Cdn$0.60/sh. to Cdn$33.70/sh in 7 or 8 months.!!!! Note: some Big Brokerage Houses and M.F companies can't buy a stock before it's on the Nasdaq Big Board.!! Can't X-Stream get to the Nasdaq Big Board the same way???--I think the American Internet company (BID.NOW) went that way, from the bottom of the Nasdaq to the top, plus many more???
