the big problem , we do not have a knowing stake in it. imo the average person goes on not thinking about iraq etc. just like they have no idea or opinion about who is running for office. If they watch law and order they remember one name. Brings to mind the bumper sticker: The United States is not at war, the Marines are at war. The United States is at the mall.
