And the mature way of handling the problem was telling the Senator on the Senate floor to "f--k off"! How old is Cheney? 70? That's real mature behavior and shows no respect for the public institutions of this country. How old were you when you were temporarily banned from this board for using the same language (poorly disguised, though it was)? As to "respect" for the institutions, it could have been worse. I refer you to the case of Burr and Hamilton.
