Aus and thread - I had a HP CDWriter external. I ahve never managed to get it to work. Then I had to pay extra for Easy CD Creator 4 whn I upgraded my computer to W2000. Today I thought I would try to get it to work and record all my MP3 files onto CDs. I kept getting ASPI error and after an hour or so I picked the f---ing thing up and I smashed it on the ground and I felt much better. It is now in pieces in which form it is in my opinion of far greater value to me than when it was in one piece since it is no longer on my desk and I am going to have to returned to HP. Now does anyone know of an external CD burner that will definately work with W2000? Best regards, L
