My guess is no...there wasn't a girl involved. It sounds like another kind of deep seated problem....if the story about his writings are of any worth.... It's that old story again....if you know/think/feel/guess a train wreck is going to happen, do you try to stop the train? If his writings were 'disturbing', and the professor recommended him to a counselor, what happened there? Did he feel unworthy before or after seeing the counselor? What happened to him when he was growing up? Where did he live, and who did he associate with when he was younger? Why did he tell his roommate he majored in business, and in fact, his major was English?
