Qwest could sell out all their unused fibers in the cable they have in the conduit and still remain competitive. They ran a empty conduit next to the one with the cable in it. They could use the cash from the sale or lease of fibers to run a cable in the empty conduit. Qwest is at the epicenter of a explosion in communications and can be a aggressive provider of fibers and bandwidth. With the new technology of wave division multiplexing the saturation of single fiber capacity has not been reached in this industry. I think we will see continued good earnings from this company.
