Dear Jonh, loyal - no, I am just here for the money (which seems to shrink as time goes by)! Unfortunately I was a self-proclaimed momentum trader turned hopelessly into a long-term investor :-( Ever since that guy called Craig Crawford showed up on this thread, I never had one good day and it was just one long escalator down. Conventional modem is going to be of less and less importance to coms as far as revenue is concerned. It's already down to around 15-20% of revenue right now and the next area of huge growth for low-end products are SOHO and Home-area-networks. I would like to see the reliance on NIC and modem drops to around 12% each which I think is highly doable. On the high-end, coms is very quietly shipping the CB9000. Hopefully the new COO Claflin will be able to formulate a very convincing high-end strategy on which they seem to be keeping a very low profile. Mang
