Not now, most likely never will, compete with Sandisk. Interesting just the same: eet.com unionsemiconductor.com BTW, Ed Spall, of Ovonyx, gave a IEEE-sponsored, special-invite only (seems to have been a regional thing) talk on OUM development. The talk was given following a tour of the Toshiba Dominion Semiconductor plant in Manassas. BAE, who is in a JV with Ovonyx, with additional funding from AFRL, to develop radhard nv memory, is in the same building with Dominion, (or possibly next door -- I'm not exactly sure). There is speculation stemming from that meeting that Ovonyx is in talks with Toshiba for some kind of cooperation on OUM development. speculation only wily
