Spectrum Sale?

Anyone heard if the Spectrum sale went through?

$30 Mil should bring the price back up.

CVUS - 5/32 Cut the price in half again and I might buy back in.

While I'm waiting for someone, anyone! to post an update, I'll post
an a long LMDS article.

Raytheon has seen the practical effect of producing for proprietary systems, having acquired the defense groups of Texas Instruments along with TI's microwave-monolithic IC business ,under which Raytheon supplies L.M. Bosch with LMDS components. Raytheon also is a supplier to Angel Technologies Corp., which makes a stratosphere-based high-altitude broadband system (see sidebar).

The demand for lower-cost LMDS components is also driving new business alliances. Microwave electronics distributor The Gilland Group (Felton, Calif.) announced a pact at Rawcon with Russia's Elva-1 diode plant to produce an active-frequency multiplier capable of generating 28- and 38-GHz signals from a C-band source. As the Elva plant near St. Petersburg moves to volume poduction, Gilland predicts, prices of the multiplier units will decline from $3,600 to $500 in volume.
