I'm not standing in front of Ms Market and what she decides, more down may be ahead of us, but there are few key points those in great fear are missing:

There is now over a trillion in pledged funds from a half dozen major corporations for new manufacturing plants in the US.

Currency exchange rates are moving favorably in the US direction to negate any impact of prices increases due to tariffs on the import side. Yes, exports may be affected some.

Most, if not all countries need the US marketplace for their goods and will pay for the priviledge. China is a 3rd world country again without US consumers. We don't need them.

DOGE is reducing government wasteful expenditures, a lot of which go outside the US. The budget up for adoption actually increases spending though, more of it here. So net, it should be good for the US economy.

I encourage everyone to seek out Youtube interviews of Howard Lutnick and his vision for the Sovereign Wealth fund. He is the US Secr of Commerce. The plan monetizes and capitalizes US government owned assets to reduce the deficit. It should make sense to anyone with a rudimentary understanding of economics. Communists will hate it though, but that's a given.

The fear is mostly induced by the Marxist progressive media and paid off pols aiming to stop DOGE and Trump so the grifting and destruction of the Republic can continue.
