I don't know about the commercial you're talking about, but the point is that attacking Zell Miller for allegedly being a racist is hypocritical given that no one in the ABB crowd minds whenever Sen. Byrd attacks Bush.


Miller is being vilified because as a Dem. he went to the GOP convention and condemned John Kerry and his candidacy. It would be the same as if J. McCain came to the Dem convention and condemned Bush.

And for the record, I vehemently opposed Sen. Jesse Helms and his policies, and I was glad to see him retire.

I do not believe he is the last of the GOP racists but I'm glad to hear your reaction to his retirement.
