Cisco Systems Launches 'Ingredient Brand' Ad Campaign

SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones)--Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) is taking a page from Intel Corp.'s (INTC) successful "Intel Inside" ad campaign, and is launching its own "ingredient brand" marketing effort, officials of the San Jose, Calif., networking supplier told Dow Jones.

Cisco customers - such as Internet service providers, telecommunications companies and cable operators - will be able to use the logo as part of their own marketing efforts as long as they meet certain qualifications, including spending at least $5 million a year on Cisco's products.
Among the first Cisco customers that will be using the logo are British Telecommunications PLC (BTY) and AtHome, a high-speed Internet service provider supplier.

AMTX closed at 11 1/4. Key. A very tough TA number here. May still work out by Friday. Hard to do, though, given, as others have pointed out, the Soros fears, shorts, and so on.

I think one of the weirdest feelings I have is that I would like WSTL to be up more than it is [no joke here, dead serious]. There has been a ferocious amount of good press for WSTL [forget it whether or not there was a number...yadda yadda associated with a contract...or deployment... yadda yadda, for now at least] and I would like WSTL to do better, because it prefigures a possible like performance of AMTX. The real yadda yadda numbers will be forthcoming for all in due course. They will matter then.
