Microsoft picks antitrust oversight committee (MSFT) By Neil Chase
Microsoft (MSFT) on Friday afternoon announced a committee of board members who will oversee its compliance with last week's antitrust ruling. In that order, a federal judge reversed a prior finding that the company should be broken up but ordered a series of remedies, starting with the creation of this committee. It will be led by Harvard Prof. James Cash. The nine members of this newly created committee shall have equivalent voting rights. Microsoft shares fell 91 cents to $55.10 on Friday.
