Michael,

I bought a Nikon Coolpix 800 for my brother in November of 1999 and he really likes it.
This camera new is selling for under $350.00 now at retail and I am considering it for my
father-in-law. Only negatives from my perspective have been difficulty with autofocus in
low light situations, no direct USB connection (not a big deal, IMHO) and the lack of manual
exposure/aperature settings.
