Thanks for the comments. My response: my minute-to-minute trading activity is about 90% determined by what customers want to buy or sell what stock. The other 10% of my time is spent taking very short term (hours or 2-3 days) proprietary positions in the stocks I trade. During the trading day, I rarely look at intraday charts since I have such a good feel for the way the stocks are trading. Everyday after work, however, I look at the chart for each stock I make a market in. Every Sunday night, I spend a few hours doing extensive TA on my list, deciding which stock I may be willing to build up some inventory in, and vice-versa.
