Defining enemy in the field is what we are having the most problems with. They don't wear uniforms.
Closing with them in any appreciable number is another.
That all makes the killing and destroying difficult too.

Actually the killing and destroying is still the easy part of the job. It is the sorting that screws up progress. In WW II they were not so big on sorting out the bad guys. What they keep not wanting to admit is many of the people you don't want to kill, are the support staff for the ones killing US Troops. Time to stop being so polite.
