LIST: Where to find Embedded Processes & Process Control Systems
compinfo.co.uk
Here is a list of some of the systems that might have embedded micro-controllers. Get back to the manufacturers (the suppliers may not have enough information) and get written confirmation from senior (technical) management as to the problems that might arise, if any, on the turn of the century or any other date-related problems (e.g. does "00" (or any other specific characters) in the date field cause the system to fail or the process to abort?). Do not get verbal assurances, and (regrettably) do not rely on the words of sales or marketing personnel.
