Hi David,

I agree with your thoughts. I am still waiting for my iPaq! It's been about 1 month. They tell me its on the way.

I agree that most people want a lower priced PDA. But when you look at the Palm Vx -- that's $400. Compare that to the iPaq ($499) and it can make one wonder which one to buy.

If I had to buy a lower priced PDA, it would definately be the Visor ($179) over the M100 ($149). It's $30 more but offers quite a bit more for the price.

Someone at the store told me iPaq was ready to send out some type of device (not my H3650) in the near future to meet the growing demand for the holiday season. They said "don't quote me on it", and they didn't know anything more so I don't know what kind of device it is. Keep in mind this was a young sales rep who didn't know a whole lot other than what someone told her.

You are right that most people won't use MS Word or MS Excel. I do and have learned that I am only one person. The vast majority of people don't want these applications.

I am impressed with the 6.3 oz that the H3650 weighs. It has, of course, limitations like every device. It does not have a slot for flash memory or cartridges, it has limited applications due to fewer developers, but it does have everything I need!
