The DIVA USB is designed with the non-technical user in mind and
offers true plug and play functionality. It is an external
device, so there's no need to open up the box - simply plug the
USB cable into a USB port and the ISDN cable in the ISDN wall
socket. The PC will automatically detect the device and configure
the correct drivers. USB
The Universal Serial Bus is now a standard in the PC world,
offering a number of extra features over a standard serial
connection. Faster data transfer rates from a standard port mean
that a host of new devices can communicate with the PC at far
greater speeds, while at the same time being easier to configure.

The DIVA USB is loaded with new features aimed directly at the

Along with full CAPI 2.0 support, the product comes bundled with a
number of useful software packages including RVS-COM Lite giving
users a personal fax assistant, a basic telephone answering
machine as well as Eurofile Transfer functionality for fast ISDN
based file transfers. Other packages include Microsoft Dial-up
Networking V1.3, Microsoft Internet Explorer, voice and fax over

The DIVA USB is fully compatible with Windows 98 and the USB 1.1
interface. The product is a passive ISDN terminal adapter that
supports all major B-channel protocols over a switched or
permanent ISDN connection. The unit is packaged with diagnostic
tools including a troubleshooting wizard and a B & D channel trace
program. The product also supports PAP/CHAP security, MPPC Data
