I agree with you completely. However, I don't trust the Bush administration with that kind of power. I assume our government has reasons for taking its actions, and I assume they are appropriate, but with George, he has been wrong so many times and abused that power so many times, I'd rather put that trust in someone else.

Can you explain why the Gitmo detainees should be denied due process for more than 3 months? 3 months seems enough to figure out what they know about ongoing terrorist activities. More than 3 months has no justifiable excuse, as far as I can tell....

He should not entitled to due process on this matter.
